THANKSGIVING: Mr. Bankole Akande Celebrates Life @50 - (Photos)

It was a special Sabbath worship service for Mr. Bankole Akande on Saturday, 22nd of October, 2016, as they all came out in numbers to celebrate their special brother, husband, father, friend and brother in-law, at the Victory Sanctuary Seventh-Day Adventist church, Lekki Lagos.

Bankole who turned 50 on Monday 17th, decided to bring his golden jubilee celebration to a climax at the church by giving thanks to God for having sustained him through the past five decades of his life.

 Amongst the special guests that graced the event were his wife, Adeola, their three children, his eldest brother and his wife, Pa and Mrs. Akande, veteran elder, Pa Dare and his wife (his father and mother in-law), sister, Mrs Atinuke, his friends, including Mr. Omisore; Adeleke University's dean of faculty of Health Sciences, Professor Atolagbe, also Deputy dean of Students Care, Adeleke University, Dr. (Mrs.) Bola Oyerinde, Elder Seyi Wright, Barrister Niyi Arije and several other family relations, and well-wishers.

When it was time for testimony and wishes from family and friends, the son of the celebrant, Damilare Akande was the first to speak, he said, "my father is a very shy person, in fact what is happening right now is probably too much for him. I must say he's a very loving father and also my role model".

His sister, Mrs Atinuke also rained encomiums on his brother, "he is a very loving and caring person, he is a very good cook, in fact he thought me how to make soup with fresh pepper without removing the seeds from it. He is a wonderful man".

Pa Akande also says that "Bankole is a very generous personality, he is so loving".

His wife, Mrs. Adeola Akande testifies of her husband, saying, "Since I married him I have never had any reason to regret, he is so supportive, caring and responsible. I thank God for his life".

The mother and father in-law, Pa and Mrs Dare also spoke at length, describing his humble and very generous nature.
